Did I mention the Amazon Fire Phone has a terrific built in HD digital camera? Next time I go on a photo safari at Area 51 aka UFO hunt remind me to bring the Zoom lens and put the camera in Sports mode. The UFOs are so fast here it's hard to focus in on them fast enough. Then when I do, they only show as a tiny orange speck of light without a zoom lens. I will have to practice quick draw photography with my digital SLR camera. The Fire phone 13 MP camera/video camera is very nice in so many ways, but the auto-focus feature takes too long to lock in for UFO photos since they move very fast. Wow, I have so much more respect for professional sports photographers now... No wonder great UFO photos and videos are scarce. I would post some more photos here but they would just be 99.9% black with tiny specs of light without a zoom lens and quicker autofocus/shutter speed.
After this epic failure of a photo safari to Area 51, it's no wonder why we have evolved into a specialist society today, even my mobile phone has a quad-core CPU chip built into it. Experts are literally light years ahead of the amateurs. Anyone can buy a deluxe digital camera, but it is how you operate it, focus, light, select your shots and time your pictures that counts. Then Adobe Photoshop or Creative Suite 7.0 allow you to enhance your snapshots further or transform them to digital art/masterworks. Alas, that too takes plenty of practice.
My next photo safari will be another visit to Globe Life Ballpark in Arlington, TX because the Texas Rangers are red hot now that Josh "Hambone" Hamilton is back. It is a joy to watch this team play again because the pitching, offense and defense is back. I think this team is playoff bound, especially because they swept the first place NY Yankees in the Bronx just before Josh Hamilton returned. I'm amazed they've played this well without their Ace, Yu Darvish too. Thank God for Prince Fielder, what an offensive force he is.
